SEAN PHILLIPS FINANCE
The simplest way to living a wealthy lifestyle is…
ALWAYS spend less than you earn! If you do this, you will develop a nice nest egg for emergencies,
you will become debt-free much quicker and you will be so much healthier without all of the stress associated with financial obligations.
Before treating yourself to a vacation, or even a round of golf, ask yourself, “Is this worth prolonging my peace of mind?” One extra mortgage payment within the first couple of years, can shave off almost a year’s worth of payments. Eliminating your daily starbucks, soda, fries, etc. and applying it to the principle of any debt will help you realize how quickly you can become debt-free. Just be
responsible. No family should ever have two automobile loans. You should never borrow money for an ATV, television, computer, carpet, investments, appliances, nor any other luxury!
Some simple points to keep in mind, it is okay to finance a home and one vehicle. Your home mortgage should not exceed the average sales price of homes in your city, otherwise you are a
moron, in this regard. A car/truck… one financed vehicle is all you should EVER allow. Save up, pay cash for an older model, if your family needs a second car. Otherwise you are throwing good money away. If you finance a luxury vehicle (anything over $65,000), you are being stupid with your money… you are pretending that you have ‘arrived.’ The people you are trying to impress,
shouldn’t matter, or let’s face the simple fact… you acknowledge that you do not matter enough to them.
Be smart. Be responsible. Showing off is something high school kids, and adults with unresolved childhood issues, do. Are you a loser? Buy quality, don’t buy a name. I would take a Hyundai over a Mercedes any day of the week. Much higher quality.
so, in closing… work hard, buy American, buy local (boycott WalMart), be responsible… if everyone did that in your community, it would be a good place to live.
Yes, I have room to talk.
